Local Governing Body Information

The Role of the Local Governing Body

Local School Governors form a Local Committee reporting to The Board of Trustees and make decisions about the strategic direction of Tubbenden Primary School.

The Local Governing Body (LGB) meets at least twice per term as a whole group.  School Governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They can only act collectively, not individually. The Governors are made up of parents, members of staff and co-opted Governors.
